SPIRIT AND GLORY (IRE) was steadied in tight leaving the chute, settled kindly two wide off the pace, moved up on the far turn, waited for a clear path, came through on the rail at the top of the stretch, closed willingly inside, dueled with SCOTISH STAR (ARG) and finished best. SCOTISH STAR (ARG) set the pace racing with a clear early lead, dueled with KALIFORNIA QUEEN (GER) on the far turn, put away that rival in upper stretch, was immediately challenged by the winner, dug in gamely outside of that rival and then was no match late. KALIFORNIA QUEEN (GER) stalked close up two wide, bid two wide on the far turn, dueled into the stretch, could not go with the top pair, then stayed on well to the end. ALEXA'S DREAM trailed the field racing on the inside, moved up on the turn, came two wide into the lane and closed mildly. MY THOUGHTS was in a bit tight along the rail leaving the chute, then tracked on the inside, chased on the far turn and weakened. IRIE EMPRESS steadied in tight between rivals leaving the chute, then raced two wide off the pace and gave way.
