Chart notes
SPROSTON saved ground setting the pace and increased his advantage late. R B EYE was allowed to settle in stride while saving ground, angled out to offer a bid nearing the three-sixteenths pole, could not reach the winner but finished well for the place. ALPINE HYPNOSIS prompted the issue while racing two-wide to the stretch and weakened slightly late. HEY SEQUOIA was reserved off the early pace, came three-wide into the stretch and finished in a mild rally. RIVER ROSE was forwardly placed early while three-wide and tired. VINTAGE KITTEN dropped back early, lost ground on the turn and was eased in the stretch and walked off following the race.
