Chart notes
DISCO DEANO pressed the early pace, raced four wide into the turn, drifted in slightly, kept on and held for the win. FLYING EMPEROR tracked the early pace, raced five wide into the turn, was gaining steadily and just missed. WRITER'S REGRET was unhurried early, raced six wide into the turn and offered a mild late rally. LADY'S GOLDEN GUY was allowed to settle early, raced off the rail into the turn, angled in, then drifted out and weakened late. SENBEI raced in mid pack early, went seven wide into the turn and was empty late. WINSTON'S CHANCE was taken back early from between rivals and offered no late rally. NUEVA YORK was void of any early speed, raced eight wide and never fired. LOBSTA set a pressured early pace from off the rail and faded. SAMAY was outrun early, raced six wide into the turn, angled out and was no threat. THE STEWARDS POSTED THE INQUIRY SIGN INTO THE STRETCH RUN AND TOOK NO ACTION.
