Chart notes

HANNAH IN A HURRY took back off of the fast early pace, saved all of the ground along the turn, loomed in upper stretch, tipped two wide at the furlong grounds and responded to urging approaching the sixteenth-marker, overtook TWO TWELVE heading to deep stretch, kept to task in the late stages and held safely over the oncoming runner-up. LASSIE CAT unhurried in the early stages, was roused four wide into the stretch, rallied in the drive, could not reel in the winner in deep stretch and bested the rest. TWO TWELVE hustled to establish the early lead, showed speed into the turn, set solid fractions while on a clear lead to the quarter marker, was set down at mid-stretch, weakened nearing the sixteenth-pole and was overtaken by HANNAH IN A HURRY, was outfinished for second in deep stretch and held safely for third. CRY ME A RUNNER chased the fast early pace, gained ground two wide on the turn, ran evenly to the furlong marker and gave way in the late stages. BLURSDAY forwardly placed in the early running, stalked the fast pace while three deep into the turn, could not keep pace in upper stretch and tired in the drive.
