Chart notes
SKELLY broke a half step slow, immediately took command in the first few strides, opened a well rated advantage while racing in the two path, shook off the pace pressers turning for home and finished well while never having been seriously threatened. ALBIZU stalked the leader from the rail, was in tight for one stride into the turn, rallied well up the fence for the place and was second best. JACKMAN chased the leaders from three wide to be prominent throughout but could not close the gap in spite of a good effort. DEAN'S LIST reserved off the leaders to the top of the stretch and mounted a mild rally to just miss the show. ERNIE BANKER prompted the pace from two wide to the quarter pole and gave way in the lane. GO WEST broke alertly, settled into stride showing brief speed for an eighth, dropped back off the pace down the backstretch and failed to respond when called upon. THE TRAINER OF THE ALBIZU FILED AN OBJECTION AGAINST SKELLY FOR INTERFERENCE ON THE TURN, AFTER REVIEW THE STEWARDS RULED NO CHANGE WAS TO BE MADE
