PRIVATE FRANK had outside speed under pressure, opened a short clear lead into the turn, maintained to stretch, drew out. G B'S TURBO forced pace inside to turn, remained well placed inside, second best, did well to hold the place. KENTUCKY JAKE forced pace between horses early, dropped back to stalk off the rail through the turn, made a place bid rally outside. VALID DEFENCE stalked widest, rallied evenly. SUGAR DADDY JACK stalked inside, finished evenly. TIMBER'S LEGACY had bried speed outside, dropped back between horses, faded.
