HIDDEN PATH pressed two wide, vied around the far turn, gained an advantage from an inner BLUE DEVIL entering the lane, but shifted in and bumped that one in upper stretch, exchanged a pair of more bumps with his inner counterpart while sparring in midstretch, battled gamely between horses through the final sixteenth and narrowly prevailed. BLUE DEVIL set the pace inside of a pressing rival, got headed by that one entering the lane, took a bump from him in upper stretch while sustaining a duel, battled into midstretch while exchanging contact twice once again, fought on gamely through the late stages, but just missed. UNLEASH THE POWER bumped with an inner rival before before steadying out of crowded quarters early on, saved ground off of the pace, improved inside of foes down the backstretch to track from the pocket around the far turn, tipped outside of the embattled leading pair entering the lane, sustained a grinding gain to offer a bid in the final furlong, but was kept at bay. SOLID COUNTRY GOLD saved ground far back, improved inside of foes in upper stretch, shifted four wide entering the final sixteenth and offered a good late kick but ran out of ground. MAASAI WARRIOR bumped with an outer foe while put to tight quarters before taking up early on, trailed two wide, saved ground around the far turn, rallied strongly along the rail through the lane, vacated it in the final sixteenth and belated surged between the leaders at the wire. POLICY OPTION pursued from midpack along the inside, steadied entering the backstretch, lost position between horses approaching the far turn, then was shuffled back while fading turning for home. SANTORINI stalked three wide, chased within striking range around the far turn but gave way once floated four wide in upper stretch. GAMER pursued from midpack three to four wide, fanned five wide entering the lane and yielded. HE'S A ANGEL laid off of the pace two to three wide around the first turn, then in the four path around the far turn and failed to menace. PLAUSIBLE DENILE tracked in midpack two wide and between horses, but checked nearing the backstretch, retreated to the rear in the three path entering the far turn and failed to factor. SAM STORMY tracked two wide and between horses, but steadied around the first turn before shifting three wide, and faded between horses around the far turn. A LA CARTE stalked along the inside, but was surpassed by an inner rival at the half mile pole and weakened between horses around the far turn. THE RIDER AND TRAINER OF BLUE DEVIL CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST THE RIDER OF HIDDEN PATH FOR INTERFERENCE IN THE STRETCH, BUT THE OBJECTION WAS DISALLOWED BY THE STEWARDS.
