Chart notes
EDWARD MADDEN was away alertly to set the pressured pace on the inside, made a bid to shake clear leaving the turn, then held on late to prove best, driving. DIXIE CANNONBALL was well rated on the inside, tipped out three wide leaving the turn and closed well to just miss. KEEPING IT COUNTRY chased the pace and was climbing on the turn two to three wide, swung out four wide and ha d a mild late rally, bested rest. BEAST OR FAMINE was settled early, made a five wide move on the turn and came wide into the lane and had no rally. SPOOKY ONE pressed the pace and made a two wide bid on the turn came three wide into the lane and was empty. LIONESQUE was settled early, three wide by the quarter pole, shifted in leaving the three sixteenths and had no rally.
