Chart notes
MAS CHIKILIN chased the pace two wide into the stretch, drew on even terms for the lead near the furlong marker, battled to the wire and proved best under right handed urging while fully extended. AMIGO'S AFFAIR pressed the pace three wide into the stretch, gained a narrow lead near the furlong marker, dueled to the wire and just failed in a game effort. AUGER never far back, surged late four wide and just missed. TRAGICALLY QUEWICK allowed to settle, closed a gap late five wide. RIVERBOAT GAMBLER trailed, swung wide and was steadily gaining ground late in the middle of the racetrack. THE COOKIE MAN away alertly, set the pace along the inside until mid stretch and weakened late.
