Chart notes
SUPER DESIGN stalked Koufax while racing in hand, took the lead from that one nearing the three-sixteenths pole and drew clear. MYSTIC NIGHT was reserved off the pace while racing three-wide on the turn, came five-wide into the stretch and finished strongly. SHORTLIST was unhurried early, rallied four-wide into the stretch and earned the show in a steady effort. KOUFAX saved ground setting the pace into the stretch and weakened late. OLLIEMYBOY settled in the middle of the pace, moved up along the inside to offer a bid nearing the eighth pole and then flattened out. JOHNY'S FIREBALL was prominently placed along the inside to the stretch and tired. MOBSTER GUN was close up early while racing two-wide and gave way.
