THE TWINS SNEAKERS rated along in the early stages, ridden along past the three eighths pole, angled out through the far turn, surged late and just got up under strong pressure while racing from the far outside. ASTRAL WEEKS prompt the early leader from the outside, had a clear lead near the eighth pole and was caught on the wire in a game effort. LORD JAXSTON showed good early speed to set the early pace racing four wide down the backstretch and kept on to the wire. SIR KAHN dropped back early, raced three to two wide and moved up to improve position. CHIQUIRIN stalked the pace, raced five wide near the three sixteenths pole and weakened in the drive. GRAND PLAYER settled early on, raced near the inside around the far turn, shifted five to six wide and never threatened. POWER (BRZ) was unhurried early, raced near the inside around the far turn through the stretch and lacked a bid.
