Chart notes
MAJOR DUDE was well rated along the inside, then waited nearing the quarter pole and eased off the inside and made a four wide bid off the turn, continued that bid through the lane and edged clear late to prove best under a drive. BEHIND ENEMY LINES (GB) was settled early, made a quick four wide move on the turn to vie for command by the quarter pole, then took over leaving the turn, then battled with the winner in the furlong grounds but was out-kicked late, second best. FLETCHER was reserved early, saved ground on the turn, finished willingly up the inside to gain the show award. RECRUITER was three wide into the first turn, set the pace while two wide and then was headed nearing the quarter pole, weakened in the drive. MOVISITOR chased the pace on the inside, eased out on the turn and came four wide into the drive and had no rally. CANDIDATE was forced out four wide into the first turn, prompted the pace three wide and then weakened by the quarter pole. TUSKEGEE AIRMEN failed to respond. UPSTATE AND BACK failed to menace.
