Chart notes
MARK THE MOOSE raced off the pace up the backstretch, continued around the turn in the two path, began a bold bid in upper stretch and gained ground to get up for the win late. SHUT UP MICHAEL (IRE) dueled on the inside up the backstretch, saved ground around the bend, kicked clear in upper stretch and was caught in the final strides. OUR VALLEY chased the leader through the opening quarter of a mile, saved ground around the turn and kept on to the finish. RIDING THE TRAIN raced in the middle of the pack on the outside early, navigated the turn from the three path and gained ground mildly in the stretch. MATTS FIRE N ICE dueled on the outside up the backstretch, continued to battel from the two path around the bend and weakened in the final furlong. BLACKTECA raced in the middle of the pack on the inside through the opening stages, saved ground around the turn and faded in the lane. SMOOTH SCAT raced off the pace up the backstretch, raced into tight quarters and took up headed into the turn, swung into the stretch in the four path and was empty from there.
