Chart notes
CLUBHOUSE SAINT raced in the two path around the first turn, chased the leader on the inside up the backstretch, began a bid from the two path coming around the far turn, dueled in upper stretch and kicked clear in the final furlong. LILA'S LUCKY LADY led the field from the two path around the first turn and up the backstretch, continued to show the way while saving ground around the far bend, dueled in upper stretch and was caught near the eighth pole. CHASING SHADOWS stalked the leader on the outside through the opening half mile, began a bid from the three path coming around the second turn and chased the top two home in the lane. COME ON SWEET PEA raced in the two path around the first bend, settled off the pace on the outside for the run up the backstretch, continued around the far turn still in the two path and made up some ground in the stretch while never threatening. MERLIN'S SISTER saved ground around the first turn, raced off the pace on the inside up the backstretch, dropped back to trail the field from the rail coming around the second bend and was not a factor from there.
