BIG UNION broke sharply and was allowed to settle off the early pace while saving ground at the rail entering the backstretch, tipped three wide to launch his bid entering the final turn, took control leaving the turn, and drew clear in the drive under confident handling. SOARINGFORTHESUN unhurried early while dropping back to trail, rallied one out from the rail from between rivals through the final turn, and finished two out from the rail in the drive to prove second best. BAKKEN OVERDRIVE away well and vied for the lead from along the rail entering the first turn, dictated the pace while racing two wide in the run down the backstretch, held his advantage into the final turn, was overtaken leaving the turn, and finished for wide in the drive to garner a share. CASCADE BILLY tracked the leader into the backstretch while saving ground along the inside, rallied smartly two wide entering the final turn, and finished evenly five wide in the drive. SET TO SHINE settled off the early pace while racing two out from the rail entering the backside, rallied three wide entering the final turn, but lacked the needed closing response when called upon. BE QUICK away alertly and dueled for the lead from the outside of BAKKEN OVERDRIVE entering the first turn, dropped into a tracking trip one out from the rail entering the backstretch, rallied along the inside entering the final turn, but faded over the final furlong.
