CROSSTOWN SHOOTOUT shied from an inner rival at the start, nudged an inner rival entering the turn before laying off of the pace in the three path around the bend, tipped out to the six path to rally outside of rivals in midstretch, bid at the sixteenth pole and edged ahead. ALL EYES WEST stalked along the inside, chased the top pair turning for home, shifted outside of them in upper stretch, bid inside the final furlong, but was outkicked by an outer rival leaving the sixteenth pole. POPULIST tracked in the three path, chased the leaders from the five path in upper stretch, but was outkicked by an outer rival at the furlong grounds, then kept on to gain show from tiring rivals late. MY MAN FLINTSTONE broke sharp, prompted the pace two wide, vied around the turn, led in hand turning for home, drove clear at the furlong grounds, but failed to resist a pair of outer bidders at the sixteenth pole and weakened late. FIRERY TALE trailed in the three path, spun into the lane in the four path, shifted out to the seven path in midstretch and stayed on late. MUNI MUNI SLEW set the pace inside of a vying rival, dueled with that one around the turn, but was headed approaching the five sixteenths pole, then weakened nearing the final furlong. GORMLEYS GOT GAME turned his head left just before the gates opened, then came out slow, laid off of the pace in the four path, floated to the six path entering the lane and tired. BOISE lacked speed along the inside, took mild contact to his hind quarters from an outer foe entering the turn, then faded after greenly changing leads at the three sixteenths pole.
