Chart notes
ATHENA'S WISDOM set the pace while being pressed along early on, moved off the rail at the quarter pole, responded when roused, drew clear and was kept to the task. SPOUTY'S GIRL chased three wide, bid three wide at the quarter pole, could not go with the winner and was clear for the place spot. NOTABLE QUEEN bobbled at the break, chased between rivals, came five wide into the lane and rallied mildly. EXPECTATIONS MET pressed the pace racing close up outside of the winner, bid between rivals at the quarter pole, then weakened. SPIRIT AND FIRE chased on the inside, chased on the turn, came wide into the lane, angled out and had no rally. ROMPING was off slowly and steadied, moved up at the half mile marker, then steadied at the four and a half pole, rode the rail into the stretch and lacked a rally. ONE VIOLENT AFFAIR dropped back soon after the start and was outrun. ESME'S ROSE was outrun.
