Chart notes
BOOTLEGGING GIRL stalked the clear leader around the first turn, edged closer late on the backstretch, saved ground then raced two wide entering the head of the lane, roused right handed, shifted to the rail, steadily edged up closer, dug in gamely and drew clear. I GOT A NAME sped to the lead at the start and opened up to clear command around the first turn, set the uncontested pace up the backstretch, came under pressure from oncoming rivals late on the far turn, held firm and battled on two wide into the drive, got headed by rail running winner with a sixteenth left to run, ran on and just lasted for place. ALTAR GIRL rated off the clear pacesetter up the backstretch, edged up into close contention near the quarter pole, roused three wide down the lane, steadily edged up closer and got nipped flor place. PREORDAINED was allowed to settle in early stages, hustled up three wide around the far turn and failed to rally in the lane. SMILIN JOSIE trailed through early stages, coaxed three wide into the lane and failed to move into contention. I GUESS NOT raced off the pace and retreated in the lane.
