MELISANDRE tracked leader off rail, took over outside passing sixteenth pole, held on. SPUN LINE trailed to final turn, advanced five-wide, finished well widest, ran out of ground. WAIT A SEC tracked winner three wide, rallied, gave best, lost the place late. MISS Z opened up early, clear lead stretch, gave way sixteenth pole. MISSION BELLE, squeezed back at the break, saved ground, rallied inside. TEXAS RAIN stalked wide, lacked rally. FRENCH ROSE, well placed inside to stretch, faded.
