Chart notes
UNTROUBLED vied for the lead two wide into the turn, cleared in late turn, widened into the lane while entering from the three or four path, drifted out into the six or seven path when urged left-handed then settled back into the five path while being intermittently urged right-handed. EL PELIGRO broke well then was steadied when losing his path before running a sixteenth, continued along the inside through the turn, angled sharply in late turn when gaining momentum, entered the lane from the five path when nearest the winner then angled in and was gaining while second best. NO MANCHES was in the two path through the turn and into the lane and offered a mild gain for the place spot. NATIONS DREAM chased the pace from the three path through the turn then lacked a bid. TOO CLOSE chased the pace from the three path through the turn then tired. NUEVO AMANECER vied for the lead along the inside into mid-turn then gave way. AN OBJECTION BY THE RIDER OF #3 EL PELIGRO AGAINST THE RIDER OF #5 UNTROUBLED FOR INTERFERENCE SOON AFTER THE START WAS DISALLOWED
