Chart notes
HEIRLOOM KITTEN bumped by both sides at the start, tracked the pace well back, saved ground through the turns, came through inside into the stretch, then made a steady gain and edged up in the final strides. KENTUCKY COOL sprinted to a clear lead soon after the start, drew off down the backstretch and increased his margin through the second turn, held sway to the final yards and was outfinished. GRADED ON A CURVE allowed to settle, moved up three wide through the second turn, came four wide into the stretch and closed well for the show. STRIKE THE TOP unhurried, saved ground through the turns, came through inside into the stretch and got up for a share. ALABAMA SLAMMER rated outside the leader, held position three wide through the second turn, bid on that path into the stretch and evened out. SURF AND TURF unhurried, saved ground through the turns, came through inside and passed tiring rivals. ON THE COUCH well placed and outside, held position four wide through the second turn, then faded five wide into the stretch. JEN'S SONG well placed and outside, steadily lost ground.
