Chart notes
GROUNDED tracked the pace, raced boxed through the turn, waited, came through inside the leader into the stretch, then made a steady gain and drove clear. SAINT GOAR unhurried, moved up two and three wide through the turn, came four wide into the stretch, then drifted in and closed well for the place. STRANGE ARRANGE set the pace just off the rail, held sway to inside the furlong marker, then weakened and held the show. HARD COUNT vied for the early lead on the outside, held position through the turn, came three wide into the stretch and flattened out. GINS AND TINS well placed and outside, moved up two and three wide through the turn, came four wide into the stretch and weakened. CHOCOLATE PHILLING was no factor, widest.
