Chart notes
SMITHWICK'S SPICE chased the early pace from the outside of foes, challenged three deep near the quarter pole and got up under all out pressure racing three to four wide. SILARDI showed good early foot to set the pace near the inside and kept on gamely to the wire. CAPT. CANDY chased the early pace near the inside, angled four wide and moved up late to improve position. JW'STRICKYMISCHIEF chased the early pace along the inside and lacked a final bid. SHOWTIME CAT dropped back early, raced four wide into the upper stretch and never was a factor. KITCHEN FIRE pressed the early leader from the outside and faded. PER RULING FROM HISA, SMITHWICK'S SPICE WAS DISQUALIFIED FOR MEDICATION VIOLATION.
