Chart notes
NAPA VALLEY took the lead between horses approaching the first turn and rated the pace, came under pressure nearing the quarter pole, raced at the rail on the far turn and held well under steady stretch handling. CAIRO BREEZE had a brief early lead then stalked at the rail on the opening turn, gave chase toward the seven sixteenths pole, raced off the rail on the far turn and had to settle for second best. DIVINAS CONNECTION raced well back inside on the first turn, gave chase leaving the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn about the five path and came along for third inside the eighth pole. VOICE OF NOW stalked the early pace off the rail, gave chase nearing the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn in the three and four paths then weakened in the lane. RUSH TO CANDY raced off the pace in the three path on the first turn, gave chase toward the three eighths pole but showed little response. PRINCE'S REWARD raced in the three path the first turn and showed little response through the backstretch. NICKANDME was reluctant to load then broke in the air and lost his rider at the break. The Stewards reviewed the start of this race before declaring it official.
