Chart notes
ROSES BY LIAM saved ground around the first turn, chased the leader on the inside up the backstretch, challenged from the three path coming around the second turn, kicked clear entering the stretch and held off a closer to the wire. BARNFIELD bobbled slightly leaving the gate, saved ground off the pace through the opening half mile, switched out the three path for the run around the far turn, began a bid passing the quarter pole and gained ground late. CALZONE raced in the two path around the first turn, tracked the pace setter on the outside up the backstretch, continued around the far turn in the four path and finished evenly. LITTLE RED RIFLE broke sharply, led the field from the two path around the first turn and up the backstretch, dueled from the three path coming around the far bend and weakened in the final furlong. MARK IN GREELEY raced in the three path around the first turn, continued up the backstretch off the pace on the outside, dropped back while saving ground around the far turn and was outrun from there. PER RULING FROM HIWU, CALZONE WAS DISQUALIFIED FOR POSITIVE TEST.
