Chart notes
CATALINA CRUZIN chased the early leader, moved up to split rivals past the quarter pole and finished well to edge up late under strong handling. RAPID RUBY was quick to begin to set the early pace, was clear near the eighth pole and was wore down late in a game effort. G'S FIREBALL was off slowly, rushed from the inside and improved position late. AMORICA dropped back early on, raced six wide into the upper stretch and moved up late. JUST THE THING coaxed along early, raced three to four wide around the far turn and faded in the drive. JASSAI was hustled along early and lacked a bid while racing near the inside.
