Chart notes
DIRT ROAD RED stalked the pace while racing two-wide, moved up to gain a slight advantage from PISTOL POWER nearing the quarter pole, dueled with that one to the wire and prevailed in a prolonged drive. PISTOL POWER saved ground setting the pace, responded when headed nearing the quarter pole and held on gamely to the wire. LOOKIN FOR EIGHT broke in to brush with OUTRIGHT, then was forwardly placed while racing three-wide and finished in a mild rally. HEY SEQUOIA was unhurried early, came five-wide into the stretch and was gaining slightly late. OUTRIGHT was brushed at the start, then moved up on the backstretch to race between horses while being forwardly placed and went evenly late. HYDROGEN was close upo for a half mile racing along the inside and gave way.
