Chart notes
DARK AND DANDY vied for the lead with HULA KING, shook that one off leaving the quarter pole to open a clear lead and maintained a safe advantage to the wire. TAPIT AT MIDNIGHT dropped back early while saving ground, slipped through entering the stretch, angled out nearing the sixteenth pole and finished fast. SIERRA MELODY was reserved off the early pace, came five-wide into the stretch and finished in a mild rally. ARTHUR SPOONER was unhurried early, rallied six-wide into the stretch and was gaining slightly late. PARTY FOR ONE was never far back, moved up along the inside on the turn, angled out for the drive to offer a bid and hung. HULA KING vied for the lead for a half mile from along the outside and weakened. MINEHUNTER hopped at the start, quickly recovered to prompt the issue for a half mile while three wide and tired.
