Chart notes
CODETOWIN was well placed sitting three to four wide just off the early leaders, let out a notch midway around the turn, loomed up to challenge for the lead at the quarter pole, vied with DRILLS LIL MAN near mid-stretch, dug in gamely under pressure and kicked clear. DRILL'S LI'L MAN dueled in opening strides with RICKEY B, battled up the backstretch and into the turn, took on added challengers at the quarter pole, vied with CODETOWN near mid-stretch, fought back gamely but could not match late. TIZHOTNDUSTY raced up close three wide in the opening quarter, engaged rivals for the lead at the quarter pole, could not move on with the top pair in upper stretch but stayed on with good response and cleared show. BROADWAY PETE raced up close along the rail up the backstretch, evened out a bit while ridden along the inside around the turn, cut the corner then tipped two wide for the drive and had no real kick. RICKEY B dueled for the lead up the backstretch, battled on around the turn then tired in the drive. AMERICAIN JOEY lacked speed and raced in or near the back, swung four wide into the lane and had no response. CANDY'S LITTLE TIP briefly raced in contention then weakened, raced in or near the back and had no response.
