Chart notes
LIVEFORTHESONG tracked the pace, saved ground through the turns, moved to position on the two path through the second turn, bid outside the leader into the stretch, made a steady gain and drove clear late. CLEMSON TIGER allowed to settle, gained position two and three wide through the second turn, bid three wide into the stretch and closed well for the place. CREATIVE CHOICE sprinted to a clear lead soon after the start, increased his margin to the stretch, stayed on when challenged and weakened the final furlong. BATTLE CREEK well placed and inside, saved ground through the turns, came through inside of rivals into the stretch and evened out. GOODTIME ARTIE allowed to settle, angled out four wide through the second turn and passed tiring rivals in the lane. ROWDY JESS mid pack, moved up three and four wide through the second turn, came four wide into the stretch and faded the final furlong. FARM STRONG well placed and outside, held position three wide through the second turn, then had no stretch rally. STRASBOURG mid pack, pulled to contention down the backstretch, then faded through the second turn.
