Chart notes
MIRACLE DRUG (IRE) hopped at the start, was always within striking distance, rallied determinedly in the six path under a strong hand ride and got up in the final strides. EASY EYES pressed the pace two wide into the turn, made the lead, edged clear in the five path then couldn't hold off the winner while well clear for second. JOYFUL NOISE settled inside, angled out on the turn, then had a mild late rally in the seven path while best of rest. IMMACULATE HEART away alertly, set a pressured pace near the inside into the turn then weakened. SWEET EMPIRE pressed the early pace along the inside and weakened on the turn. NATIVE VALLEY was no threat. ISLAND WINTER was through early.
