Chart notes
FIRST MONEY controlled the pace, shook loose on the final turn and remained clear under confident handling. DUDLEY DICKERSON bid closer inside before half mile, angled out on the final turn and continued willingly. TEQUILAMADEMEDOIT dropped far behind then rallied for third while no match for the top pair. LAYTOWN broke very awkwardly, rushed to contention but was finished by the far turn. CHIP'S FRIEND prompted the pace for half a mile and gave way. DOCTOR MAGIC trailed far behind losing contact with his field.
