Chart notes
FOLLOW THE SIGNS raced close to the pace along the inside, bid off the rail, altered course near the sixteenth pole and surged to get up at the wire. GREELEYS ICE pressed the pace, challenged for the lead on the turn, dueled past the sixteenth pole, inched clear and was caught in the final strides. DRAGON DREW was unhurried early, shifted out for the drive, closed willingly, was gaining fast late and got up for show. WINGING WAYS set the pace while racing in hand to the turn, responded when challenged to duel past the sixteenth pole and was outclosed in a good effort. EXPROMPT (FR) was outrun in an even effort.
