Chart notes
W W CANDY lagged early, rallied on the turn, swung wide entering the stretch, closed willingly and wore down his rivals to get up late. W W HOTSHOT vied early, drew off on the turn for a clear lead, led to deep stretch and was outclosed. WILDWOOD SICILIAN raced close to the pace, bid four wide on the turn, closed steadily, didn't have enough late and settled for show. MIDNIGHT ESCAPE was slow early, advanced to the turn, swung wide entering the stretch and finished well. LYKAN raced mid pack along the inside, angled out for the drive and closed well late. BOCA BOY vied early, fell back to stalk, bid along the inside and came up empty. COMISKEY PARK raced close to the pace, weakened in the drive and faded through the stretch. SPORT PEPPER broke awkwardly to be off slowly and trailed the field.
