Chart notes
GEEBERT trailed far behind, advanced very wide then finished powerfully through the stretch to just get up at the wire. EGO MAN dueled outside, edged ahead at the eighth pole, finished gamely but was nailed. WIZKY'S ON THE BAY outrun early, moved very wide on the turn and closed strongly in a tight finish. A DANGEROUS GUY raced off the leaders then flattened out in the stretch. ADMIRAL ABE dueled along the inside then weakened in the final furlong. PERFECT DAY stalked the pacesetters outside then began fading on the turn. DEFEND settled off the contested pace outside and gave way.
