Chart notes
VODKATINI raced four wide early, then three wide, stalked two wide on the backside, chased on the far turn, made a bid at the quarter pole, rallied to a short lead, then pulled away under urging. GRACE AND CHARM raced four wide early, vied two wide for the lead on the first turn, took over, showed the way on the far turn, dueled with the winner into the stretch, dug in along the rail and earned the place award. SAPPHIRE STAR vied inside for the early lead, then tracked, chased on the inside, dropped back and gained belatedly to get up for third. MAGNIFICENT PEARL raced off the pace inside, moved up two wide on the far turn, angled out at the top of the lane, finished evenly and lost third at the wire. PRINCESS CHESSIE raced off the pace between rivals, gave way on the far turn, was eased at the quarter pole and walked off.
