Chart notes
STRUGAR stalked three wide, chased on the turn, rallied outside in the stretch run, wore down the pacesetter passing the sixteenth marker and drew clear under urging. WILD BEHAVIOR set the pace racing with a clear lead, responded when roused, dug in gamely in the stretch drive and yielded grudgingly. MR. PETE raced off the pace inside, came three wide into the lane, gained mildly outside and bested the others. BAZOO chased between rivals, chased on the turn and weakened. LORD BERRIER raced off the pace, came four wide into the lane and failed to threaten. BACKATYA tracked on the inside, chased inside on the turn and tired.
