Chart notes
PHUNK lead the way down the backstretch, cleared the turn then went uptown under a strong drive to prove best. ITS MY MONEY TOO saved ground throughout the first half then surged down the lane from the sixth path to be up for the place prize. TOOTIE was rated along the inside down the backstretch, then bid on the turn to close belatedly in the stretch. ITS A GEE THING raced in the second group of rivals while three wide, was moving up on the turn to rally in the stretch and closed well in the end. EAGLE EXPRESS chased the pace from the inside, was in a hard drive on the turn to menace in the early stretch then gave way in the end. PROUD VALENTINE chased the pace while three wide then angled in on the turn to bid from the two path into the stretch then gave way in the end. BLING ON THE LIGHT raced behind field while two wide, was urging on the turn to try and gain second position but gave way in the end. A SONG FOR MICKEY chased the pace while two wide, then dropped back heading into the turn and stopped.
