Chart notes
ENFORCER tracked close up on the inside through opening five furlongs, made a rail bid on the far turn, dueled, led into the stretch and drew clear under urging. CORKMAN raced off the pace, moved up three wide at the half mile marker, advanced inside at the quarter pole, then rallied inside for second. CATATUMBO pulled and was steadied between rivals on the first turn, continued between horses, tracked on the far turn, rallied three wide at the quarter pole and was outkicked. SHADY MCGEE (IRE) raced three wide on the first turn, stalked close up two wide, rallied four wide at the quarter pole, drifted out in the stretch and weakened. MAXIMUS MIDANI raced three wide early, settled off the pace, went four wide at the half mile pole and lacked a rally. CITY PLAN set the pace racing near the inside, dueled two wide nearing the quarter pole and faded in the lane.
