OURBESTFRIEND D L advanced to engage CHICAGO CHROME for the lead nearing the half mile marker, vied three deep around the turn, hustled along into stretch run, dug in under firm handling and kicked clear. POP'S BISCUIT tracked the embattled trio into the turn, swung four wide into the lane, responded under right handed pressure and produced a solid finish. CHICAGO CHROME sped to the lead at the start, took on the challenge from outside duo nearing the half mile marker, vied for command along the inside around the turn, fought back in upper stretch then flattened in late stages. HACKER roused forward to engage rivals for the lead mid-way near the half mile marker, dueled between rivals around the turn, sustained bid into upper stretch then gave way. DRINK lacked speed and raced in the back, chased four wide around the turn and failed to move into contention.
