Chart notes
MOONLIT SHADOW raced with the early pace three deep, challenged two deep into the backstretch and dueled at even terms from that point, contested the edge through the far turn, drew clear past the eighth pole and edged away in the lane. JAMESTOWN ROAD raced with the pace inside, dueled at even terms leaving the half mile pole, contested at a close disadvantage at the rail on the far turn, dropped back inside the eighth pole and flattened stride later yards. AZZURRA settled off the rail on the opening turn, bid nearing the three eighths pole, raced in the three path on the far turn, dug in at the head of the land and just lasted for third. SENECA ROCKS rounded the first turn about the three path, picked up the chase toward the three eighths pole, raced in the three path on the far turn and ran evenly in the lane. SECRET CASTLE raced with the early pace two deep and between horses, dropped back at the nine sixteenths, gave chase leaving the seven sixteenths but flattened at the rail on the far turn. UNRULY JULIE saved ground.
