DANZIG UP A STORM stalked the early leader in the three path in hands, drew beside of the early leader and matched strides on the lead while being rated past the half and onto the three eighths where he was cued and given his head, drew off by a stride, had pressure from the outside and was encouraged through the rest of the turn, continued to feel the pressure from his outside foe past the quarter pole, struggled to switch leads but finally did at the eighth pole then on a fresh leg drew away and won easily. SWIZZLECITY was five wide racing through the first turn, was well off the pace, was asked and responded well by gaining ground and building momentum past the half mile marker, launched a bid at the three eighths pole, and past horses through the turn, loomed up near the eventual winner entering the stretch, chased down the lane, was second best today. SUE'S LITTLE ZING vied for the early lead, raced on the rail, set the pace, was challenged and matched strides from the half until the three eighths, relinquished the lead at the quarter pole but held sway for third. ZEEROCK was near the back and raced off the pace, settled in hands and found her best stride at the half mile pole, smartly saved ground, passed horsed through the turn on the fence, angled out into the six path in the stretch was encouraged and closed well but had too much to do. AVENDORE was off a step slow, raced three wide, improved position and making a mild bid through the stretch drive. HALF SCOUT raced on the rail in the middle of the pack and was able to maintained her position through out. STORMY SUNRISE raced in the middle of the field of competitors, was in contention at the half mile pole, gave way. THAT YOU MARGARET was five wide going into the first turn, shifted into the three path but made no impact. HONEST ANGUS was mid pack early on, raced three wide, was hand ridden down the back side and drew within striking distance, then faltered. KITIARA was forwardly placed early then quit.
