Chart notes
BACKGATE RED was unhurried and raced in the back of the pack, crept closer late on the far turn, swung five wide into stretch run, rallied along the outside and kicked clear. ITWASTHISBIG led the way around the first turn and set the pace up the backstretch, held firm over oncoming pursuers around the far turn, came three wide into the lane, held clear a furlong out then got overtaken by the winner. CYBERTOWN tracked the top trio up the backstretch, moved up in close contention near the quarter pole, could not reach the lead but sustained a steady bid and cleared the rest. CHISHOLM TRAIL rated off the pace up the backstretch, hustled along three wide around the far turn, acme out wider for the drive and lacked a needed rally. GO FOR IT tracked in close range through early stages, coaxed three wide around the far tur then faded in the lane. WICKED PRINCE ..was forwardly placed up the backstretch, continued up close around the far turn then tired in the drive...........................................................................
