Chart notes
XAVEY DAVE rated under a firm hold down the backstretch racing just off the inside, moved up along the inside through the stretch run and edged clear late under steady pressure. ANGEL'S MAGIC sprint clear to a long early lead, met bid near the eighth pole, drifted through the stretch and held the place position. MODERN SCIENCE (IRE) settled off the early pace, raced four wide into the upper stretch and had not enough in the drive. COUSVINNYSACANUCK dropped back early on, raced near the inside around the far turn through the stretch and lacked a bid. MISTER MULDOON tracked the early leader from the inside and faded.
