Chart notes

DYNAMITER away well and sprinted to a clear lead from along the rail entering the stretch the first time, controlled the pace in the run down the backstretch and into the final turn, and finished three wide in the drive while holding SOMTHING ELUSIVE safely at bay late to prove best. SOMTHING ELUSIVE settled off the early pace while saving ground at the rail entering the stretch the first time, pulled himself into a tracking trip in the run down the backside, rallied three wide through the final turn to loom a danger, but needed more late while proving easily second best. MILO'S COMMAND broke sharply and was allowed to settle off the early pacesetter while racing two wide entering the lane the first time, rallied two wide through the final turn, and finished evenly to garner a share. BE SPARKY unhurried early while trailing the field into the stretch the first time, rallied along the inside from the back of the pack entering the final turn, but failed to mount a serious late charge. WELLSLEY away alertly and stalked the leader into the stretch the first time, struggled to hold his position in the run down the backside, began to drop back in the run to the final turn, and wasn't persevered with late.
