Chart notes
DEACON BEACON was off the pace on the inside and was able to slip through in mid turn to take the lead and drew clear in the stretch. EUSEBIO steadied shortly after the break then moved up from three wide to mid turn angled out wider to five wide entering the stretch and was gaining on the leader but was too late. ROCHESTER'S FINEST was off the pace around the turn then moved up the rail to be along for show. WILL TO PAR went to a pressured lead to mid turn then over taken, kept on but was empty in the stretch. RUNNIN BUFFALO prompted the pace from the three path to the five sixteenths pole and weakened. BATTLEOF TRAFALGAR failed to menace. BIG BLUE OKIE was steadied shortly after the start and was not a threat. BIG PEN TEN was steadied shortly after the start and was not a factor. ROCKETS AFLEET vied for the lead from three or four wide to the quarter pole and gave way.
