FUTILE In hand four wide, five wide on the last turn, challenged four across a furlong out, took the lead and proved best. DUCK POND ROAD In hand along the three path, took charge leaving the five-sixteenths pole, was collared, lost the lead and finished well inside. MANDATORY PAYOUT Broke slow, in hand along the two path, four wide into the lane and rallied wide. COX'S LEDGE Checked at the start, in hand along the three path, gained on that path into the lane, challenged briefly and faded. ENGLISH LAUGHTER In hand along the rail, gained some leaving the seven-sixteenths pole, appeared blocked into the turn, altered out abruptly midway on the last turn for room, lodged a bid inside and altered out again late. MARBLE MOON Broke slow, lagged far back, five wide on the last turn and failed to threaten. STARINTHEMAKING Fractious in the paddock, close up four wide into the last turn and weakened. BEACHSIDE Vied for the lead along the rail to midway on the final turn and tired. SOLAR ZEN Vied for the lead along the two path and gave way.
