Chart notes

MORE ICE raced from off of the pace in the three path, edged out into the five path at the half, advanced and improved position, circled the field after the three eighths pole through the turn, shifted out six wide in the upper stretch, was asked and closed with a lot of run, passed foes and drew off for the win. PAYNT BATTLE stalked the early speed from the inside of the second tier, gained g round and had to check, lost ground, settled in hands, shifted out through the turn, angled out six wide in the stretch and closed well, was able to take second place. TIO BLAS raced on the rail and saved ground through out, had the lead briefly at the top of the stretch, was challenged and tired after that. JOHNNYSJOURNEY stalked from the three path, was on the outside of the second tier, closed on the outside, made improvement and was caught late. DRIED PEPPER vied for the lead, lead, set the pace, was challenged at the quarter pole, battled then gave way. CHAPEL BARN was keen early, rated, led by the half, faltered.
