Chart notes
HONEY HAULER rated close up and outside, gained position two and three wide through the second turn, came three wide into the stretch, made a steady gain and edged ahead late. INDIAN SPIDEROO sprinted to a clear lead soon after the start, stayed on when challenged into the stretch, then was no match late and held the place. AZTEC PRINCESS unhurried, saved ground through the turn, angled four wide into the stretch and evened out. MERINO WOOL tracked the pace, raced boxed through the second turn, came through inside and was blocked in the stretch, angled out when clear and could not gain. FOLK HERO stalked the pace on the outside pulling, gained position on the two path through the second turn, bid outside the leader into the stretch and weakened the final furlong. RIGHT NOW ran evenly.
