FUERTEVENTURA saved ground around the first turn, settled in the middle of the pack for the run up the backstretch, came around the far turn in the two path, began a bid in upper stretch, brushing mildly with STAGECOACH BOYS in the process, and dueled to the wire to just get up for the win. STAGECOACH BOYS raced in the two path around the first bend, continued up the backstretch in the middle of the pack on the outside, navigated the second turn from the three path, brushed lightly with FUERTEVENTURA in upper stretch and dueled to the wire to just miss. SONNY SMACK raced off the pace on the outside through the opening half mile, continued around the far bend in the two path and gained ground steadily on the outside to the wire. TONKA WARRIOR hit the gate leaving it, saved ground around the first turn, raced off the pace on the inside up the backstretch, continued to save ground around the far bend and gained ground late in the stretch. MAX K. O. saved ground early, chased the leader up the backstretch, challenged from the two path coming around the second turn, dueled in upper stretch and was outfinished late. DRAMA CHORUS raced in the two path around the first turn, led the field up the backstretch, dueled while saving ground around the far turn and in upper stretch and weakened late. THE RIDER OF HORSE SIX, STAGECOACH BOYS, FILED AN OBJECTION AGAINST HORSE FOUR, FUERTEVENTURA, CITING INTERFERENCE IN UPPER STRETCH. UPON REVIEW, NO CHANGES WERE MADE TO THE ORDER OF FINISH.
